Leap is a sports film directed by Chen Kexin, produced by Wo Men Production Company Limited, starring Gong Li, Huang Bo, Wu Gang, Peng Yuchang, Bai Lang, and the Chinese National Women's Volleyball Team. The film was released in mainland China on September 25, 2020. The film tells the story of the Chinese National Women's Volleyball team from winning the world championship in 1981 to the life-and-death battle between China and Pakistan in the Rio Olympics, 2016. It records the legendary experience of generations of women's volleyball players who have been through ups and downs, but always be indomitable and keep fighting. For the soundtrack of the film, Yu Fei served as music coordinator and music editor.
